Looking back over the summer and the many 90s style references, the emergence of the sunflower trend early this season was definitely one of my favorites. Perhaps because I went through a mild obsession with sunflowers throughout 1993-95 (picture them stenciled my wall, the ever popular jean hat with the lovely flower on the front, jean short overalls with embroidered sunflowers blossoming from the pocket). So this is my homage to a 90s throwback that is very near and dear to my heart.
